68/365 - Sippin'

68/365 - Sippin'

Today was a beautiful day. It was in the 60's although the weather forecast really calls for up to 70s. Regardless, it was still a beautiful day. And so, the family decided to walk around the neighborhood.

Our original plan was just to walk around a few blocks from the house. But while we were walking away from the house, hubby decided that we head straight to Target. Right on since I needed some things.

The whole entire time we were walking, my beautiful daughter never stopped blabbering. That's the case even when we were inside the store. She says hi and waves at random people. Since we thought our walk is just around the blocks, we did not bring anything for her. Not even a cup of water. By the time that we were done checking out Target, we figured she was thirsty. We stopped by at the in-house Starbucks and got a cup of water for her while hubby got himself some mocha and I have my hot chocolate.

While hubby was busy handing Mady her water, I thought the lighting from where they were standing was beautiful. When Mady looked up, I could see some catchlights. I hurriedly grabbed my camera and took a snap. Luckily, my settings were on the spot. I tried some more shots (just in case the photo that I took was blurry or out of focus), but I was not lucky enough. Mady kept on looking around. She won't sit still and she doesn't look up to me for even at least 10-15 seconds. I guess I was lucky with the first shot, then!

She is so cute. Great job on the focus. Her eyes are so sharp. I love the black and white tones you chose as well

Great shot, beautiful lighting and conversion. I LOVE it when that one shot just turns out as perfect as you hope! :)

@Aasiya: thanks!! i have to switch it to black and white because the colored one seems too chaotic for me. There's just so many details in it that takes away the focus of the eyes..THank you!

Very cute! You can see that she is used that her mommy is taking so many pictures of her..just keeps drinking:) That's one of those pictures you can look at all day and not get tired of it:)

Ah...funny that you mentioned about her being used to me taking photos. Why? because now, if she sees me with my camera and I call her name, she doesn't respond to me anymore...well, sometimes...

@ Toni: i missed your comment as well. I was glad and lucky (at the same time to get this photo as a sharp as I imagined). I think when I less expect, then that is the time that I'll get better results..:)
