No matter how busy my life is with family and work (since I have a day job - which has an 8-5 schedule), I always find time to stop and look around. Through this way, it makes me appreciate little things and see their beauty. A beauty that is not commonly seen by everyone!
The photos below are some of the out takes from my 365 challenge. They are sort of the Plan As or the Plan Bs. They are the photos that I took that did not make it my to favorites of the day. Even if they were not considered the most favorite, I still find them in my list of favorites. Why? Because while I execute and shoot them, I learned something from them. And the things that I learn from them varies from composition to proper lighting or even in post processing.
Here they are:
The Tower Bridge
This is the side post of the Sacramento Tower Bridge. I really did not like this much because of how I composed it but the alignment of the bolts and the Depth of Field made it to my list.
Track at Old Town
Old Downtown Sacramento Train Tracks. A visit to this little historic place is not complete without snapping photos of the tracks. What I like about this the focus and again, the DoF. I also love how the colors of the cloud were reflected on the side of the tracks.Spot me?
If there's a train track, there's definitely a train. After I looked this photo into my folder, I doubted this. But when I posted this on my flickr stream, I was suprised of the feedbacks that I got from my contacts (who by the way are the most amazing people - they tell me what it is - negative or positive).Oh it's green!
The Emerald Building. This is my work building. Our office is on the third floor. Why I liked this? It's all about the lines. The cropping though is a no-no factor. It makes the photo so tight (per a feedback I got from my flickr friends), which by the way, I agree! I shot this with my 50mm. The original was a little bit tilted so I adjusted it. When all is said and done, the tight effect was the result.
