56/365 - Blurry Moments

56/365 - Blurry Moments

This is totally how feel today. I am so exhausted. It has been a long day for me. First off, I was with my husband today as he tries to recover from the bug that he got from yesterday. Have I mentioned that I brought him to the hospital yesterday because he could not stop vomitting? And while in the hospital parking lot, a kind hospital employee assisted me with my husband because he was almost literally have his face flat on the ground from throwing up. And yes, with a husband who weights 249 lbs and a 17 month old baby stuck in the car seat, she was definitely my angel.

With the schedule lined up today, I foresee that I'll have less time being infront of the computer. I'll give myself a break from sleeping late at night. Well, it's technically late but I'll try to break the habit of sleeping past midnight. At least for once. Therefore, I switched to Jpeg Mode today instead of the usual Raw format. For once since I started my 365, this is the only photo by far that has not gone to my Lightroom and CS 5. I just don't have the urge to open them up. I just want this over and done so I can now snooze.

Aside from the tiring and long day, I am a happy cammper after all. With our anniversary on the 23rd, my hubby has already gifted me with a wonderful gift. And that is the Christmas trip to back to my country with the three of us. Today, he went for a shoppping spree. But take note, it was not for himself. It was for me and for our daughter. Oh how sweet is that?!?

Another thing, he asked me to take him to a local camera store to check out the lens that's been in my wishlist. I have been eyeing for the Nikon 105mm f/2.8 macro. But with the trip being the priority, that wishlist will stay as a wishlist. This morning, he is giving me a hint. I think I am going to get it one of these days. I have a strong feeling.

Since our main intention was just to try on the lens and identify how much they are, today was not the day for us to get it. Instead, I got myself a new camera bag. And the best part, I got a bargain off the bag. It's a Manfrotto backpack camera bag. And guess what? It came with a Manfrotto tripod complete with it's rotating ball head! How cool is that? It's so timely because I desperately need a new tripod. Aside from the bag, I got my self a new Circular Polarizer and some cleaning tools.

And again, I am happy camper!

You've had quite a rough time, Noreen! I hope everyone feels better soon!!!

I love the colors in the photo. (And I know how you feel, my life feels a little out of focus too! lol)

Congrats on the new camera case & tripod; I hope to see you using the new lens soon.

I am crossing my fingers on the new lens. I am still hoping that hubby will not change his mind about that!!! :) If I can't have it, there'll always be next time. :)

This was a great idea! I'm sorry to read what brought it on.. but glad the moment of crisis is history right now.

It was pretty tough week for us last week. I am just happy we're on to a new beginning minus the sickness!
