45/365 - Sutro Bath
As I mentioned in my flickr page, the photo above is TECHNICALLY not a part of the 365. This photo was not taken yesterday. This was taken about three weeks ago when me and my family went to San Francisco. The photo above is the Sutro Bath which is located in the Sunset District right near the Cliff house and is along the Great Highway. This is also the location that offers any sunset lover the best view!
These past few days, I have been slacking. The momentum has gone nowhere. I was just overwhelmed with the crazy days that we had. Our weekend was jam packed with drives. We had a lot of errands to do. The Friday (Sebastapool for our tax) trip was the triggering point. Although I was able to post the photo on the day of, the whole 365 challenge has burnt me in a way.
I know I am not supposed to feel this way. I am supposed to have fun and learn at the same time. This is not supposed to be a task. But lately, that's how it turned it out.
Going back to the whole situation why I missed photo was crazy. Fist off, after the crazy drive and trips, our cuddle bug caught an Upper Respiratory Illness which was caused by the bug that I got from last week. My poor thing! ANd when you have a 17 month old, it's just hard. You don't know what's going on with them. You have no idea what is sore or painful for them because they can't express it like how we adults do.
And when things like this happen, I just can't get my camera and look for inspiration to shoot.
The trip to the ER was another story. Because our cuddle bug could not stop coughing and the nose could not stop dripping, we decided to take her to the urgent care. Unfortunately, they were already closed by the time we arrived so our next hunch was to bring her next door, which happens to be the Emergency Room. It's really nothing serious. We just wanted her to be checked ASAP because we wanted her to have a good night sleep and we could not wait for another day. It was a good call on my hubby's part because if waited for another day, the ear infection that she got could have gotten worse.
So, yesterday was spent on recovering and observation. Another thing that hinders me to grab my camera is the fact that I have been having a crazy head ache. It started around noon and just did not go away evern if I took a short nap and has taken some meds.
For today, I am back to my normal self. Everyone in the household is feeling better. I am hoping to get back Mojo and move forward with the challenge. I have a lot of things to make up for the lost days.

Noreen, sounds like you had plenty of reason not to pick up the camera. You were dealing with life! Glad everyone is feeling better, and looking forward to more great pics. By the way, the one above is super!
