So, earlier in the day, I tried to examine what's going on in my blog. I kind of feel that there's something that is lacking. There's an element in it that I could not figure out that is lacking (I hope I make sense in that statement). I tried to analyze it on my way home. Only to find out, it's the substance of my entries.
One reason that my entries doesn't have the substance or sense is because I don't find the time to write clearly. It's more of a rambling and the thought of getting it done. But when I started this whole thing, my main idea was to keep a journal of things that I hit and miss. It is supposed to be a record keeper of my achievements in the aspects of photography.
With that said, I am planning to change my style. I want to stick to my original plan. But then again, I could not really promise because it's hard. Let's just wait and see. I'll try to more detail next time.
Now, onto the photo of the day: this was a flower that I picked at the sidewalk of the Capitol during our daily lunch walk. I love the details of this flower and that was what I was hoping to capture. But unfortunately, when I arrived at my desk, the flower became rugged-looking. I stressed it much when we were walking. With the texture that was present in the flower, I tried to play by adding texture in the background. This texture was one of those freebies that I got from Kim Klassen. In the end, I liked the result.
This may be a late knowledge that I just learned but I'll disclose it anyways. Today, I learned how to exclude the main subject from the texture. Yay, isn't it amazing? haha

Hey Hon
If you can figure out what's going on with my blog too I'd be glad to hear it!
So pretty!
Your better at textures than me! I don't know anything about them. But I love your texture, maybe some day I learn how to do them. :)
Great shot! Love the new blog look too.
@Shotslot: LOL..i wish I can. Mine is wishy-washy as well. :)
Thanks Amy!
Melissa: yay...i did not do it by myself. I am still post processing challenged! I did texture with the help of an action from MCP and Coffeeshop Blog and played around with it!
@Flower Photography: thank you!!! there's nothing new to the blog as of yet. I am hoping to revamp it and make a new and interesting one. :)
