100/365 - Achievement

100/365 - Achievement

Horray!!! Today is the 100th post of this 365 photo challenge. And guess what? I am still alive and still kicking and still hoping to be able to finish this until the last day.

And what is the best photo to post for the 100th day? Without a doubt, aside from the cute photos that I took of my daughter, Madison, this is one of my favorite. Of course, all of Mady's are my favorite but I have to pick this. You may not know but since I started this challenge, I have been chasing for this sucker for quite a long time already. And you know what, they are hard to photograph because they don't sit still like people do.

Today was different. While we were at my in-law's backyard and Madison was entertaining us with her classic antic, this bee has been trying to grab my attention. I was seated right beside the lavender plant and this bee keep on flying right infront of me. I grabbed my camera and took some snaps of it. At first, I got frustrated because I could not get the shot that I've wanted. But then again, PATIENCE IS VIRTUE. I left the bee alone and tried to compose myself and took another series of shots. And bingo, I loved what I saw in my screen.

After zooming in and out trying to make sure that I got the focus right, I thought of cropping the photo with the use of the built-in cropping tool. Again, after examining, I showed it to my in-laws and got their approval.

I was confident that this was my shot for the day. Definitely, there's no question about it.

To all who are on their 100th post and 100th photo for the 365 Challenge, CONGRATULATIONS!!! To my blogger friends, congratulations to all of you!!! I am proud to say I have virtual friends who never cease to amaze and inspire and motivate me to keep this project going! YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Very cool shot! I've always wanted to try one of these but I'm kinda afraid of bees. LOL.

What a fantastic image, I've not managed one of these yet, they are too fast for me - or maybe I'm too slow!!

I haven't seen to many bees or other insects this year yet.. but no wonder, it seems like it's rainy here 5 out of 7 days at the moment.. I guess I just need to be patient.
