Weekend Galore 211 - 212/365 And some More News

211/365 - Serious Business

It's the weekend. Our Saturday was fully booked with a stroll in the city (San Francisco) to meet up my High school classmate (whom I haven't seen in 12 long years). She and her husband is in the country for a vacation and San Francisco is in their list. Since hubby grew up in the city, I volunteered him to be their tour guide and driver as we catch up the lost 12 years in the backseat.

While out and about, we headed to the Embarcadero. While at a halt, we all saw this guy laying on the ground with his camera on a tripod and a pen and paper and somewhat taking down notes - of what it's all about, that we do not know.

What he was doing was really interesting. So I took a photo. A perfect street photography example. Added to the interesting position was the guy sitted near him and his facial expression. He was probably wondering the same thing as we were.

We came home past midnight and I was too tired to upload my photos, how much more edit and post them.

In my flickr stream, I have some pretty talented people. I have seen them create some interesting photos. Because I had time in my hands (Madison was asleep, taking a nap), I decided to channel my flickr friends. I was hoping to create a single photo from two merged photos. I have an idea that I want to recreate. I attempted a few shots but not make use of them because I was able to find an easier way.

ON A HAPPIER NOTE: My July Favorite has been selected by Courtney as one of the Top Ten Photos. The voting is on-going. I am not campaigning for you to vote among the pool of very beautiful and amazing photos. But if you liked it, feel free. Winning the challenge is just going to be an icing on the cake if ever chosen because being selected among those who participated is already enough for me. I am just glad I was able to share what I have Clicked up a notch at.

Love the lotion!! Great color and love how part of it still dangles from the spout.
I find street photography fascinating. It's always interesting to see how other are taking the pictures..Though I've been positioned in weird ways before as well when taking pictures, I don't think I actually was laying down like this before..Haha.
