Seriously, this is going to be the a long post than I thought. And so, I'd rather make this short and sweet.
As I was tying the numbers of the days that I haven't posted, it's now been clear to me of how long I have not been into the posting. Things have just recently settled in of what I got myself into. It took me half way through to realize that. But you know what? With this whole 365 project, I have learned so much.
I had the chance to look back from the photos that I first posted up to until now and I could see the difference. And the bonus part, I have learned so many things.
So going to the posting part, here are the 8 days worth of photos:
182/365 - Swim Time
Madison playing in her mini pool after a dip in the pool at the Recreation Center was not enough. She definitely loves the water and I am excited for her first swimming lessons on Tuesday.
183/365 - Serious Mode
A photo that I took while she was eating brunch at Redwood Cafe in Cotati, CA.
184/365 - A Mess
My first attempt of fireworks photography for this year. I came prepared for this shot. I had all my necessary gear but they were not put to use. While at the Casino, we had a late dinner and almost missed the fireworks show. This is the best that I can get since I had my camera in one hand and Madison on my left hand. That is multi-tasking at its finest.
185/365 - Happy Independence Day, America!
This year, we were allowed to light fireworks. And I took that opportunity to use what I have learned. I have taken so many shots but this one is my favorite. The flag and the fireworks definitely tell the story.
As much as I want to shoot fireworks up in the sky, we missed the show. But then again, seeing the kids' faces after lighting different fireworks is all worth it. Even my 22-month old daughter had her share of fireworks.
186/365 - Mrs. Duckie
After all the hooplas, hot and busy weekend with the family, all I wanted was just to lay down and/or visit all the photos that I took. But I can't just pass on my project. So, here's Mrs. Duckie. She's my daughter's toy. Sometimes, she loves her. Sometimes, not!
187/365 - Quail in a Frame
This is probably any bird who happen to visit our house's perimeter's favorite spot. Mr. Quail is happily basking in the sun up on this spot where I took this photo.
188/365 - Blackberries
Visiting a farmer's market can be a photographer's delight. It does not only offer fresh produce, it also offers variety of subjects to photograph. Here are the black berries that I took via my I-phone and was processed through Instagram. Not too shabby, huh?
189/365 - Spice Up!
We've had this spice rack since we moved into the house. I've used them occassionally but having them for about 4 years, I don't think they'll be still be good to be used. For now, they are just there as decoration purpose.

all of them are gorgeous! I love that first one! The focus and clarity is so good! Any tips for me about that? I feel like my pictures are never that clear!
@Leslie:Aw thank you!!! That means a lot! I hope you enjoy my posts and the photos and get some sort of inspiration from here. I checked your profile but it's not showing your blog or website. Tara..thank you! That means so much to me. I apologize but I just feel so giddy and excited especially if others like my photos. I'd definitely would love to share some of the things that I do with my photos or at least share some of the things that I learn in any way I can. :)
