I've always heard about three being a crowd? Is it really? I am not sure. And I have no answer for that! Let's just see if it is because today, I'll be posting three photos.
174/365 - Along Capitol Mall
This was the scene along the streets from where I worked on Thursday at around 2:30 pm. The street was flooded with trucks and trucks - not small but BIG trucks. The sidewalk was covered with spectators - old and young.
The NASCAR race to be held in Monterey, California (if my memory serve me right), is about to commence. And before they'll head out and start the race, they paraded to the State Capitol as a Courtesy call (I would assume).
175/365 - 300 Capitol Mall
Aside from the prominent color of my work building and aside from it's unique shape, this water fountain is another mark of the place where I work. This fountain is turned on every day in various times of the day.
While out and about during lunch time, me and my co-worker decided to stop by and savor the sound of the gushing water. It was pretty neat to be that close. Luckily, the weather was absolutely beautiful that there was no need for us to dip our feet into the water. But on a sunny and beautiful day, we would see our co-workers sit by the ledge, read book and just listen to the sound of the water.
176/365 - Riding in Style
Here's Madison riding in style in her cozy coupe with her father's shades and father's cellphone. She is just too funny and definitely knows how to put a smile on our faces even if it's that early in the morning! Oh wait, is 9:55 am considered early?
Madison update: she's almost two and about a week or so hubby decided to start our potty training session. During the day, we take off her diaper and let her run around the house in her big girl undies. So far, it has been a success. She knows to tell us if she needs to go to the bathroom. There have been accidents but not really quite accidents. The funny thing is, she has her own potty chair but don't use it at all. She likes to use the actual toilet - which is really good. On hubby's watch, if the use of the bathroom is a success, he'd reward her with a piece of candy. So far, it has also been helpful but as I see it, she doesn't go to the bathroom for the candy. It's her own will to go. So, we are still crossing our fingers that everything will go smoothly as we progress.

My boys (big and small) would have loved to see the hauler parade!
Love the photo of Madison! Great that she is doing so well with potty training. I guess I'll make a trip to the store today to get some big boy undies for Stephen. He uses his potty after bath every night, but haven't really tried it during the day. Now that I'm home from work I really should get this going..
