158/365 - Shadow
Today, I got the chance to hang out with my co-workers for a happy hour at one of the cafe/bar in downtown Sacramento. While they were enjoying their cocktails and while I was enjoying my soda (because I can't drink because I am allergic to alcohol), I noticed the shadow that was on the blinds. They were the fence that the owner placed behind the glass window as a protection. At that time, I did not have my camera with me. My only resort was to use my phone. Well, it's about time.
I have been meaning to use my phone as my equipment. I have installed it with several photographic apps that could be useful with my pictures. As soon as I got hold of it, I positioned myself right at the corner to take a snap. Two shots later, I got what I was wanted.
I was channeling Chase Jarvis and his line, "The best Camera is the one that's with you. Everyday." I could not agree more. After all, it's not about the camera, it's the person behind it.
To process the photos, I first used the PS Express app. I used it to crop, sharpen the photo and changed it from colored to black and white. As soon as I finished what I wanted to do with it, I then used the Instagram app to finish it with some cool shades. And bingo!!!
