160/365 - Spectator

160/365 - Spectator

Today was my step son's 6th grade graduation. Boy, where did time go? I first met him when he was only 7 years old. That was when he would stand on the couch and show me his broadway version of Spongebob Squarepants. And now, he is about to embark into a new chapter of his life, being a Middle School and a teenager.

I know, he should have been my subject for today in honor of his achievement. But I'll let it pass. I'll reserve it for something else.

So, while the ceremony was going on, our little Madison decided to walk and check the area around. As she was done, I saw the graduates from a different vantage point. They were in between the two seated two teachers. I thought their facial expressions were quite interesting as they clap and listen and watched to the kindergarten pupils who were rendering a song about crocodiles, grizzly bear, and some kaboom! The variation of the faces really caught my attention.

This is an interesting shot, considering how many faces you got in that small gap. I didn't really notice their expressions until you mentioned it. My eyes get drawn to the serious looking boy in the front. Is he your step-son?
