153/365 - Spiky

152/365 - Spiky

I've had about 4 selections to choose from for today's shot. My main objective for today was to shot strangers walking around the Capitol. But I just could not pull off this project. I don't have the guts to do so. So, I resorted to plan B. Plan B did not work also. It's a palm tree soaring high against the blue sky. I took a snap but I did not like how it turned out.

On our way back to the office building, I saw these spiky things on the ground. I don't exactly know what they are but one thing is for sure: that they fell on the ground from the tree. I picked up a couple and planned a shot during my break. I tried quite a few shots but it's not working. I saved the shots just in case I might like them later.

Plan C was the sunset. It was a beautiful day today. The sky was blue and the clouds were puffy. With such beautiful things in the sky, I kind of expected a beautiful and colorful sunset.

After dinner, me and family decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. When I looked back, the setting sun was so gorgeous. I was at a spot where its reflection is seen on this semi-man-made lake. I took some shots and told myself that it'll be my post for tonight.

As I was looking at them for post processing, the latter shots did not turn out how I want them to turn out. It was a disaster. I tried to salvage but I just could not. Luckily, I had my Plan B. I tried to look at them and saw the photo above. It's not my very best but for now, it'll take it as my best of everything that I've taken.

Should you know or should you be familiar with this fruit, feel free to let me know. And oh, thanks in advance!
