The story of the Storm

It was the weekend before Thanksgiving and here in Northern California, we were hammered with a storm. Thankfully, it was not as worse as what the Midwest or NorthWest have been experiencing. It was just enough to give us snow to the Sierras and maybe enough to put some water back to the dams.

On this weekend, we decided to head up to the Roseville Galleria to do some errands. On our way home, all of a suddent, the sky became dark and wind started to blow. And while driving into the freeway, this is what we saw up in the sky!

The Sky I

The sun peeking through!!

Thick clouds blanketed the whole Roseville area. But on the other side, we can still see the sun slowly peeking through the clouds even if it was about to set.

The Sky II

About two-three minutes later. We were still driving through the freeway on our way to the other mall.

The Sky III

About another 2 - 3 minutes. Finally, the sky has cleared. There were still some spec of dark clouds hoovering.

The Sky! Finale

Beautiful and colorful sky!

The last photo was what awaits us after our stop at Best Buy and Toy's R Us in Arden. It was approximately about 30-45 minutes since I took the third photo.

Although I don't really like to have much rain but the last photo is what I always like about after a storm. For some reasons, when the dark clouds has moved and is long gone, we were always able to witness the sky transform into a majestic, beautiful and colorful piece of art!
