Christmas Tree at the Capitol

During Christmas time, we see various institutions all decked up for the season. One of them is California State Capitol. Since we moved to the Sacramento area about 3 years ago, I've always known that they do a grand lighting ceremony of the Christmas tree. The tree is placed in front of the Capitol on it's West Wing.

Unfortunately, for the last three years that we've been here, I've always missed the lighting event. Oh well! But I am hoping I'll be able to catch it next year. Let me see! I have to put it in my list.

Anyways, during the last walk that I had with a friend, one of our iterinary was the capitol. Sure enough, I saw the tree! It was beaming with the color blue, hence the blue bokeh from this post. I could not resist leaving the location without taking home with a me a snap shot of the gorgeous tree!
