Buildings that Glow

Night Shots as they say can be tricky. If you are at the right time and place and with the right held of your camera, you'll most likely be able to achieve a very nice shot. If you're unlucky because a) you forgot your tripod, b) you don't have a stable hand, c) and you can not find a place to put your camera and make it stable; then you are expected to have blurry photos.

Aside from the interest in light trails, one subject I like to shoot during the night are buildings. For some reason, it seems that they just glow. To me, they have a different characteristic with what we see during the daylight.

I walked with a friend and grabbed the opportunity to shot some building within the Capitol Mall of Sacramento.

battle of the buildings!

Wells Fargo and West America Bank. See how they glow? The building to the right is my workplace!

Bank of the West

The Bank of West Building! Gloriously and beautifully standing tall.

A would have been center shot

Battle of the tallest buildings in Sacramento. The Bank of the West and Wells Fargo. In this shot, the Wells Fargo seems shorter but it is indeed the tallest in Sacramento.

thank you! It's one of my faves too! I also liked the first one because of the diagonal lines created by the lights that light up the building!!
