When we think of winter wonderland, the most common thing that I can think of is SNOW. This is my second time to participate. I dig into my archive of photos and tried to remember if I have any. And then, I remember that I did have one. And it has a story and it's a memorable one for me. It may not be the best of how this photo was taken but if you see the big smile on my face? That's exactly the reason why I selected this!

Why memorable? Because this was my FIRST EVER experience of a snow fall. This photo was taken when me and hubby drive up to Mt. Rainier in the Washington State. I will never forget this day. Despite the gloomy day and sleek road, it was still a good one for me because I get to experience another first and I was with my husband.

This is my favorite type of photo. It is all about emotion and a true real capture. Funny that I could be sooooo sick of snow and it is such a novelty to you. I pray for it to be a novelty some day:-)
Thank you all!!! Actually, it was really freezing up there. I was not prepared (except for the gloves). We did not stay long at the summit. We were only there for a good 15-30 minutes. I got scared!
Honestly, I had so much fun. I remember the home video that my hubby took of me, I was like a child. I could not contain my excitement. If there enough snow on the ground, I could have laid there and made myself a snow angel..LOL..
Lastly, this experience was really one of a kind. I grew up in a tropical country and had always been wishing to see snow and be able to touch them. And to touch it, it's simply amazing. But, after knowing how painful and gruesome it is to live with snow, I am ok for a one day experience. Luckily, we don't have snow where we live. :)
Wow.. that's a nice story to go with the pic! Despite the snow and the cold, your story made it really heartwarming. And you look so happy - God bless!
Thanks Toni!!! It was really a great experience and adventure. At least for once, I was able to make a small snowball. And I was happy with that!!! LOL
