All I wanted is to post on this blog are those very recent photos that I have taken. Well, my bad because I took so many pictures. Oh well!!!
Anyways, here are some night shots that I took while "still" in San Francisco. Night shots can be tricky. In order for you to have a decent one, usually it requires a steady grip on the camera with the aid of a tripod and/or the remote shutter. But in these series, tripod was not available. All these shots were handheld. I was so scared to raise up my ISO so I was stuck with an ISO of 160. Actually, I'll take that away. I was not scared. I just forgot to adjust the ISO.
So here they are:
This was my first attempt. It was a DISASTER! My hands were shaking. But despite being a disaster, I still find it pretty decent.
Second Attempt! The intersection was busy. There were cars, people/tourists everywhere! But as I took notice, it has improved. From disaster to good!
Third Attempt: I was still situated in the same location as the latter photo. I adjusted the angle a little bit. There were not that much cars at the intersection because the red light was on. People are still there. They did not vanish. Status has changed from good to better!
Fourth attempt! It was still handheld and with a very low ISO setting. The lighting helped. I did not bring my wide angle lens so I was stuck with this perspective. I could not run to the other side because I had my hubby and my daughter with me. Rating has improved. I now consider this a best night photo considering that I shoot in low ISO and no tripod whatsoever!
And last one for this series: I can't help but take a photo of the famous Ghirardelli Square because I can't get enough of their hot chocolate. It was very deliciouso!!! It was shot handheld. I think my shaking hands had progressed, eh!
