Well, actually, I did it before but I was not happy with the result. My background was overly exposed and I wasn't able to salvage it. I shoot it in the broad daylight and could not find an easy solution for the backdrop.
So when there was another chance for me, I did it. But it was not what I was hoping for. But at least, it was close.
Gotta give credit to the charcoal:
Up close and personal with Mr. Charcoal.
Let the heatwave of the bbq begin!
It's getting hot in here!!!

Wow.. what fantastic shots! The fiery theme continues! I like the fact you've got the series showing the different stages of the fire. And the tones of the charcoal against the fire are superb! Well done!
I like the fact you shoot everything - I'm mostly happy shooting Nature and wildlife, but the colder temperatures have kept me indoors mostly and I thought it the best time to see how to use artificial light for my images. I hope to learn much in the next few months before I can show my wild side again! :)
Toni,
Thank you!!! That's so sweet of you! It was not really my intention to do the fiery theme! I think it was just a coincidence. But neverthe less, looking at those pictures make me feel warm right now!
I do shoot almost anything. It's anything that I can see and anything that I am interested.
