Good morning, Sacramento

It was past 7:30 in the morning and he headed out for a Sunday Breakfast in Natomas. I have been watching the sun rise every morning as I go to work. While I am in the car, I always think that it would be nice if at least I'll be able to catch the rising sun.

And so, armed with my camera, we headed to our destination. I have been trying to snap photos in the passenger's seat. Unfortunately, I could not get a good angle. Then, I realized we are heading to the freeway. This part of I-80 off at Reed Avenue is just my favorite spot. It kind of overlooks the Sacramento skyline.

I did some test shots just to make sure I'll get the settings that I wanted. I have to be quick because my husband was driving for about 75-80 mph along this freeway and if I will not be in a hurry, I'll miss this sunrise. There's no stopping in the freeway.

Sure enough, after a series of shots, I looked into my shots and found this. Ah, beautiful Sacramento Sunrise!
