Everytime we visit Frisco, I always make a point that I have my camera ready. And so, here's a glimpse of what San Francisco has to offer for those who haven't visited this diverse and beautiful city.
San Francisco as seen along West Interstate 80.
The famous Fisherman's Wharf. A visit in San Francisco is not complete without stopping at this place and without having a photo opportunity right on this landmark. :D
Hm, hot and fresh clam chowder on a sourdough bread bowl is to die for. Aside from the fresh shrimp and crab sandwiches, do not miss this! This will help you keep warm from a cool San Francisco weather!
To add some thrill into your driving experience, don't forget to traverse the world's most crooked street, Lombard Street! This picture is taken from the Observatory Deck of the COIT Tower.
For those whose adrenalin is not pumping and opted to have a good cardio exercise, these stairs @ Lombard is an option. It not only give you an exercise, it also offer some spectacular view when you'll reach at the top.
Another famous landmark of San Francisco, the Alcatraz Island. It is accessible through ferry boats. No worries if you miss one because there's a lot of ferry boats to choose from that will take you to this island. Once you are there, don't forget to do the audio tour. It will give you a thorough account of what that place used to be.
And of course, looming on top of a hill, you'll find the COIT Tower. This tower gives you a good perspective of the city. And to be able to see the City of San Francisco, take the elevator. From the observation deck, you'll see a 360 degree view of San Francisco - from the Bay Bridge, Alcatraz, the TransAmerica Building, the Lombard Street, and even the Golden Gate Bridge.
So, there it is, a glimpse of what San Francisco has to offer. There's a lot to it. It's just the tip of the iceberg of what you can see when you come and visit here.
