Shown is the Capitol of the City of San Francisco. Look at the gold trimmings on its dome. Isn't it gorgeous?
And this is the State's Capitol. It houses the Offices of the Legislators, Assemblymen and the Governor. This photo was taken on the left side of the North Steps.
