Welcome!!!

Hi,

Welcome to my new blog. If you happen to stumble into this blog, I hope you'll find this interesting and leave some comments and even critics.

My whole idea about this whole thing is to be able to publish the pictures that I have taken. The pictures that I am talking about are not just merely snapshots but those that I may have carefully planned and edited to suit what I wanted to achieve.

As you may know, I am a person who is addicted to her camera. Ever since I owned my first digital camera, I have never stopped clicking-whether it is a portrait of myself, my husband, my daughter or our cat (he passed away last year). And now that I have upgraded to a DSLR, I know the opportunities to capture wonderful moments are endless!

And, I am hoping that I will be able to express and show those wonderful moments that I am talking about in this blog.

Happy blogging and hope you'll like my photos!

xoxo,
Noreen

Hi Noreen.
Thanks for sharing your blog!!
I also love photography, as seen on my blog.

I got first DSLR camera March of 2008.
Before then I was able to get some pretty good shots with inferior camera.
But DSLR camera and a few lenses and filters has really made my creativity with camera Grow.
I like to take alot of Flower, Sunset, Night, and any other Macro photos as well.
a few weeks ago I took the bird pictures at the wetlands over towards Davis, I am going back there when the sun is shining to get some better pictures.
Did you get the settings I used for the night photos on the West Sacramento Photo of the Day!
isn't it great to submit pictures there!!!

Keep up the photos I will keep checking your blog!!

Thanks. That wetlands by the Yolo Causeway is the one that you are talking about? I haven been eyeing that location for months especially when the sun is setting. I like how it looks like when the setting sun is hitting against the buildings of downtown. I haven't had any captures that I have submitted to West Sacramento. One of these days, I might try.

I am a newbie too! I stiill have a lot of things to learn with my DSLR. for now, I am just using my kit lens and trying to use the most out of it before moving on to other stuff...I like the idea of using filters though. I need to learn more about it. :-)
