Itty-Bitty was such a great cat. When we got him, he was already up in age. The reason why we got him despite of his age is because of the fact that he has some health problems. We thought that because of his health, nobody would like to take care of him and plus the fact that he is a little bit old. Naturally, people who wanted to have a pet cat would love to have a kitty.
Though I have never been close to Itty, I love him dearly. For a year that he was with us, I can only count the number of times that I carried him in my arms. He was the type of cat that doesn't want to be bothered. He got a mind of his own. He was a smart cat. He was the king of our house. We gave everything we could for him.
We envisioned him playing with our Madison. We foresee that he will protect Madison. But unfortunately, those never came to reality. Just a few weeks after I got out of the hospital from giving birth, he gave a kiss to Mady but the week after, he started to become weak. He is not the lively and active cat that he is. He only sit on one corner listening to Mady's cry or to our voices. We tried to figure out what's wrong with him but it was too late. His kidney infection has gotten worst. The VEt told us that they can give him medication to sustain his life but it was not an assurance that he will live longer and that he will not suffer.
And for that reason, and for the reason that we love him dearly, we decided to just let him go. It was easier that way than to see him slowly deteriorating and suffering because of his illness.
While he was still alive, he was my constant model. He loves the camera too! And so, as I was browsing again my archive, I saw the folder that contains all of his photos. Below are two of the best shots that I got from him.
Our stud while watching us leave for work.
He owns the loveseat that we have. It's complete with his towel, covered with blanket and he owns a heated blanket as well.
