But really, the main reason why I am ditching the project is that I have lost the motivation and inspiration. When I first started, I've set high expectations of the outcome of this. I've always wanted that every photograph that I take everyday has a learning experience for me. But when I looked back at the photos that I took from the first quarter and compare it with the recent ones, there was a major fall out. I have noticed that lately, I have been taking photos just because or so I have something to post. The whole project has actually become more of a task rather than enjoyment and learning. And honestly, that was not what I was hoping for. And so, instead of wasting my time and energy, I'd rather put it on hold and think about the things that I have learned. I am pretty sure I have tons of things that I have learned along the process.
It may be hard but I decided to throw in the towel. It was tough because I clearly know I am already half way. But then, I have to choose. Though I've discontinue my 365, it does not mean to say that I am bidding goodbye to my camera and my daily routine. From time to time, I still get up, crawl under fences and walk along grassy areas to get that shot - minus the late night rendezvous of editing and posting the photos.
On a lighter note, a couple or so of months ago, me and hubby have decided to venture out something interesting. We established Noreen Hunter Photography. So, apart from the lacking the motivation and inspiration, this big project has also taken a lot of my time. So far, it has been doing pretty good. And with that, we also established a Noreen Hunter Photography Website. It'll be my home for anything photography related things. All of my sneak peeks and other photography ramblings will be dished out there. Feel free to look around and say hi to me.
Oh, if you happen to be on Facebook, I would appreciate if you can stop by my Facebook Page and like it.
