Sunrise

There's this one day that I could not go back to sleep. It all started by a wake-up call from my little daughter. She got up at past 2 am from a bad dream. She woke me by crying. After a few lullaby and swinging, she finally went back to sleep but not me. I tried to close my eyes but my mind just would not shut down. And so, I decided to get up. I tried to go over with my photos that I took when we were in Chico but then again, I had no interest of converting nor editing them. My mind was awake but it was not in working mode. So, with the help of facebook, I was connected into the virtual world while it was still dawn.

As I was about to hit the shower to prepare for work, I had the gut feeling to open the blinds. Good thing I did as something great awaits for me and my camera outside. Armed with my husband's sweater, my camera, I hurriedly turned off the alarm and head outside in my PJs. I loved the colors that I visually saw. Hues of oranges and different shades of blue. Without further delay, I set my camera and started clicking away. And so, here's some of them:
just a few steps away from the front yard. I wished there were no houses built behind our area so the gorgeous sunrise would have not been blocked. But nonetheless, I still loved the colors.
Here's another one.
This was the view from our backyard.
